Thor-Phan translates to dream coffee. The owners roast on a Garanti roaster in a separate room that customers can see, for the bar and for wholesale clients including Note, Three Nakhanik, Klom Cafe and Aimeiam. Single origins come from Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil, Kenya and Guatemala, alongside beans from northern Thailand. Each bean has its own grinder.
An illuminated gold THOR-PHAN sign sits on the brick wall behind a black espresso machine, and the front window doubles as a street-side counter, with stools on a concrete porch. The bar runs along the back and right of one open room, where V60 and filter coffee are poured.
Roasting
Thor-Phan roasts coffee on-site in a separate room. They source premium Thai beans from Doi Mae Seriang (Mae Hong Son) and Phu Thap Boek, alongside international single origins from Ethiopia (Yirgacheffe Aricha Natural), Colombia, Brazil, Kenya, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. They offer custom roasting services where customers can bring their own beans.
